The cutting die is one of the most important components of an efficient skin packaging operation.
After packing, a sheet of product is loaded face down into the cutting die. The product sits in cavities to protect it from crushing and the board is located in the proper position by spring loaded pins.
After a sheet of 1/2" plastic has been placed on top of the board to act as an anvil, the entire package is squeezed together by two motor driven rollers. As the board is compressed into the knife, the sheet is cut into individual cards including hanghole, rounded corners, perforations etc.
At CPI, we have 25 years of experience in the manufacture of cutting dies for skin packaging. We use only the finest material to ensure that your die will last for thousands of impressions.
